Out of Juice

When your car starts to screech it's a bad omen of things to come. Low's car died in front of my house when he came to pick me up. We charged his car with my car, but then we decided to go to Costco to pick up a few things.

Low suspecting that things weren't really going well with his vehicle, this was the second time it didn't start in front of my house, decided to look for car batteries while shopping. Costco with is vast quantities of everything had no batteries that were for his model car.

After concluding our shopping excursion we went back to the car and after a few loud screeches reminiscent of a dying bird we knew his car battery could hold about as much of a charge as a 3 year old laptop.

After not finding any batteries at Costco we decided to try at Wal-mart. I mean after all if it's not at Costco and not at Wal-mart we deserve to be stranded right? Anyway, we found the battery and lugged it back to the Costco parking lot. We put the battery in with some assistance from Low's brother Sou, and we were on our way.

Just take head of warning signs because you might not be so lucky or under such relaxed time constraints.

My Room 1/10/12

Happy New Year~!
This is the layout of my room as of 1/10/12.
Pretty small room, but the loft bed gives me a little more space. I like how the room has come together. I would prefer hardwood floors because rugs get dirty easier, but I'm not complaining. The Anime stuff isn't all mine, it's mostly a combination of what my girlfriend has collected and my stuff.

Biking / Walking Lake Chabot

When a 60 year old biker passes you on the incline of a hill you know that you need to get back on the regular exercise train because the embarrassment alone is enough motivation. Low, Chun-li, and I decided to go try the trails of Lake Chabot. We just weren't prepared for the steep inclines and dirt roads, so we ended up pushing our bikes most of the way. That still counts as exercise right?

We did however make it about 1/4 of the bike loop. We ended up giving up due to the lack of motivation and someone made a comment that we weren't supposed to ride road bikes up a dirt trail. Does adventure stop because you don't have the right equipment? I guess the answer to that question is No, but our tired bodies didn't want to go on.
The main point of the excursion was exercise; goal accomplished.
