Crane Games can be very tricky. Sometimes you feel like you have the upper advantage because you can visualize how the claw will precisely grip your prize, but this is really just an illusion. The game does take some skill, but the prediction of an outcome based on the mechanics of the claw should be taken a step further. You can't just assume the claw will pick up an object and drop it. The claw is usually very weak and jerks around even if you get an object. After you take these factors into account I think you can judge the outcome more accurately.

Google Music is out! You can upload and have storage for up to 20,000 songs for free. This is an awesome service from Google considering that iTunes is charging a yearly fee to have access to your own songs. The uploading is easy and the quality seems to be pretty good when listening online. You don't have to worry about having copies of your music on every device because this service allows you to just upload your database from one computer and as long as you have internet access you'll have access to the whole database!
http://google.com/music
Check it out. All you have to do is sign into your google account download the application and start uploading. There doesn't seem to be a web based uploader as of now, but hopefully they will implement that instead of having software that you have to install in order to upload.

Low, Annie, Lily & I went bowling Tuesday night because it was discounted at Castro Valley Bowl. Only $10 per person including shoes & $1 beer. Anyway, I shot a compilation of videos with my droid x because I couldn't take any pictures due to the low lighting. The ISO was set too high on the Camera which made everything blurry and grainy. I edited the video with Final Cut Pro X. It's condensed down to shots of us actually hitting the pins. Overall we all bowled pretty well considering we're novices. My best was 166 that day. I still need to work on my hook.

This weekend we decided to explore Golden Gate Park and the surrounding areas. The areas we ended up visiting were the Golden Gate Rose Garden, the Young Museum, Golden Gate Park, Marshall Beach, and Japantown.
Golden Gate Park had many attractions such as the Japanese Garden, Academy of Sciences, and the Young Museum, but they all cost money. We decided to just walk around and see what we're we could go for free because we all were feeling our wallets being strained. The Academy of Science would have cost us around $40 each to go inside and have a pass to the exhibits.
You can still have a decent time without actually having payed anything. We took in the sights and just explored the park. There's a lot to be seen. The Young Museum also had a great section where you can get a glimpse of San Francisco from 11 stories up.
Marshall beach was interesting like always because it consisted of a great view of the Golden Gate speckled with naked people. The nudist seemed to love the attention and always seemed to have a way of wandering into shots of people who were unaware of their presence in the background.

Finding parking in San Francisco is hard enough, but parking on hills can be challenging especially for Low. We circled around Chinatown in San Francisco for a while until we found this spot on the hill next to the Chinatown tunnel. It was a decent spot, but the hill made the parking job a little challenging... So much so that a resident came out of her apartment to assist Low in the parking incident.
I started shooting this video on my droid x after 2 or 3 minutes of him trying to back into the spot. This footage is unedited and just uploaded to youtube. The woman was interesting because she kept telling Low how to park even though it didn't seem to be helping. I guess she just was used to the parking situation because she lived in the apartment right behind the Camera.
It was overall a very interesting experience and the chinese food we had that day was excellent making the venture worth it.

More Japantown Festivals and Narcotics.
Check out the Gallery. Basically went, walked around, ate good ramen, & concluded the day.
The ramen was pretty good because it reminded me of the miso based ramens that I had in Japan. It tasted pretty authentic though it was a bit pricey for ramen (around $10), Anyways all in all it was a decent day, but typical of your japantown festival experiences.
